Tasting notes

Charles Heidsieck Rosé Millésimé 2008 is a Champagne of remarkable depth and poise, shaped by time and meticulous craftsmanship. In the glass, it shows a luminous salmon-pink colour with copper highlights and a fine, persistent mousse.

The nose is complex and expressive, revealing layers of ripe red berries, wild strawberry, raspberry, and blood orange, interwoven with notes of rose petals, sweet spices, toasted hazelnuts, and subtle brioche developed through long ageing.

On the palate, the wine is precise, silky, and beautifully structured. Fresh acidity carries flavours of red fruit, citrus zest, and dried cherry, complemented by creamy, lightly toasted notes. The finish is long, refined, and elegant, combining freshness with maturity and finesse.

Pairs well with

This vintage rosé is highly gastronomic. It pairs superbly with duck breast with red fruit reduction, lamb with mild spices, tuna or salmon tataki, and lobster. It also complements aged cheeses and refined dishes featuring mushrooms or truffle accents.
